Printer Troubleshooting
Printer will not print. When the printer will not print, there could be many things causing the problem. First, make sure the printer is powered on. Make sure the power cable is connected to the printer and the wall outlet. Make sure the printer has toner and the tray has paper. Look for any error messages that may be displayed on the printer. Make sure the network cable is connected to both the printer and the wall jack. If the printer is powered on and the network cable is connected to the printer, the network status lights on the printer should be blinking.
Verify the network status lights are on and flashing.
(if necessary, mouse over graphic to activate animation) If the printer is powered on, has paper and toner, the network cable is connected and no error message are on the display but the printer will still not print, try sending a test page from your computer to the printer.
